It's pretty straight forward and there doesn't seem to be anything hidden in the source code. I am pleased to announce that, following an extensive security audit of all departments within the Dharma Initiative, I am totally satisfied that DharmaWantsYou.com is now secure. As a result I am able to confirm a date for the commencement of our latest volunteer testing program.

I have heard from many of you in recent weeks via email asking what will be assessed in the program and what the nature of our latest research is. I have found your enthusiasm and relentless curiosity extremely endearing. However, in the interests of maintaining the integrity of the testing process, I cannot be forthcoming on these enquiries.
Despite this, I would like to affirm to you all that I am extremely optimistic about these upcoming evaluations and believe that they will yield recruits of the highest caliber.

ange, yes I'm wondering if the tests will be on a Tuesday since 8-19 is a Tuesday? I think we're all frustrated because we thought the tests would have started the week after the initial registration...
I suppose if our inside guy hacks again, everything will be delayed AGAIN
I'm new to this ARG thing, but even though i also couldn't get to the sight, i looked at the cookies left by dharmawantsyou.com and one of them contained something with "INCA2", so im not sure if that means anything or if i'm going a little crazy...

It's finally a quiet day at work. I was so hoping that the game would get moving today (8/15) but all I get is blue sky, too.

I still get a big zero from DWY.com. I tried Safari and Firefox. The Firefox attempt tells me it's waiting for the website. Does that mean they're overwhelmed again?
Warning -- I'm going to gripe below. Don't read if you don't want a gripe.
I'm still pretty bummed about the pace of this thing. It's not like they didn't have 2 full months post finale to get going on it and now we're going to be almost 1 full month from Comic Con before there's more than there was then. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't Hoodlum who made the Chang video, but Darlton, so I'm not buying a we got busy on the video and dropped the rest of the ball excuse.
I know we still have months to go until S5, but the reality for me is that they are burning time when I can't get distracted by new TV shows with nothing. Once Sept. 21st gets here, I'm much less likely to want to waste time doing this. This August and early September window was perfect for engaging people and making them want to stick with this thing, and it's been wasted.
This may be a bit extreme, but right now Hoodlum is operating like a US airline. Delays and no explanation for their causes. Next they'll make me pay to get a blank screen. JK (I hope.)
So, I open my email this morning and have an email from Hans Van Eeghan and he wants me to click on something or other. Except I just don't care anymore, so I didn't.
No wonder Ben wanted to purge the Dharma people - they are extremely annoying - go Ben!!
I feel your pain, Memphish! They will be losing lots of new recruits as this thing drags on. One would think they would have been prepared for everyone trying to log in today. What is going to happen Tuesday? I dread that thought! I think we're going to have a lot of pissed off people on Tuesday, too!
I'll probably stick around because I can't help myself (and I want to stay in touch with all of you). And, of course, ANYTHING Lost-related sucks me in! But, so far, I big disappointment. This could have been a great PR move, but they're blowing it...so far.

OT: Matthew Fox got his money! I guess they cut back on paying Hoodlum to meet salary demands! LOL
I still hope ALL the cast get their raises! With the new negotiations, Matthew Fox is making only $9375 more per episode than before. This is based on his old pay-per-episode amt.($150,000) compared to his new pay-per-episode amt.($225,000) AND taking into account the new seasons are shorter. I based this on a 16 episode season rather than a 23 episode season to get my results.
My main concern is that Lost doesn't lose any of the cast because of tempting offers elsewhere. Because of the shortened new seasons, the cast would be taking a big pay cut by keeping the same pay-per-episode rate as before, right? (I think I'm right, if not, please advise)

yeah! its odd! when i registered on the DWY site it told me that my hotmail account address was invalid (it ends in .co.uk) so i put in my old hotmail address that ends in .com however i recived the first hans email to my .co.uk address!!!! very odd.
inatrancer - I have the same issue with emails, I get two now, one to the email I signed up to Octagon Global Recruiting with and one to the DWY one.
Sayid'sgirl - Thanks for thinking of me, but the Brits are now out of the competition. (I'm still going to watch the finals)

I got another email yesterday as well. However, it was sent to an address I didn't sign up with, so maybe they are email people from Find815 or somewhere else?
