On my personal Progress page, I have 10 Dharma Points. I did recruit one person that I know signed-up so this may be where the ten points came from.*UPDATE 8/24: It seems the leader board at DWY really will be updated every 24 hours. This morning there are some changes and rank shifts. Have a look.

apparently pandora is a moon of saturn, while ganymede is of jupiter as we already knew.

well, I just tested this out with my bf. he signed up after I sent him the challenge. I then gained 10 points after he signed up and played the game. They don't make it easy to sign up. he had to fill in the profile, take the first test of photos, and then the test 1
i don't see how the cheat can make a difference because me and my brother both used in and yet we are in different groups; been reading the comments at dark and so far as i can tell so far it seems to be random; is anyone else seeing a pattern?
I think the leader board has more to do with recruiting new Dharma-ites than anything else. And, if you wanted to take the time (which I do not), you could easily cheat your way around that too. Simply create a bunch of e-mail addresses, create a fake profile for each, and then do Test 1 for each of them. Voila, you've "recruited" people and get points *rolleyes*.

I'm in Pandora. I used the cheat but was happy with a score of 94. I have zero Dharma points, so the person I recruited didn't sign up. Maybe it had something to do with my message asking her to help me infiltrate and overthrow the DI. Go BS!

I finally used the cheat that "r" gave us in the last post to get 100% on the test. Before that, I could only get to 99%. Before that, 75%.

Made three new accounts (BSWY 1 2 3) did the test with cheat got 100% every time and got placed in Ganymede, Pandora, Ganymede. I invited the three accounts trhough my legit one and now I have to see wether I will get extra points for it.

I wrote wht I thought about the groups on the blog before this one (the one with 400 plus comments, its the last entry I think). Personally I think the grouping is not random but it does depend on a series of circumstances principles for now only known to Hoodlum & Co. NOT with test nº1-exclusively at least.

ok; set up a new account; this time it put me in pandora, after getting 65% first time without using the cheat. I then did 2 more without the cheat, 73% and 69%, and it was still pandora; then i tried one cheating, and got 99%, and it was still pandora. finally, i let it go all the way down to 8% before putting in the last piece, but it was still pandora. Wanted to see if it would change or not; but it didn't. Harrumph. maybe it does it on just your first score then?? still don't see how though.
ANM; i've noticed it do that once, i think its just a flash bug, because on dark yesterday they were getting all excited about the test button moving outwards so there was more of a gap, but not everyone was getting it, and mines normal again now anyway

This "recruit a friend" thing sure doesn't seem fair...everyone can just make up friends and emails. So far this whole DWY thing seems to lend itself to cheating. Is the whole thing a sham?
It seems like you have to take Test 1 to be sorted. On one name I've taken the eligibility test and test 1 and have been sorted into Ganymede, but on the other I only took the eligibility test and got 'Unassigned' for my PSJE group.
@maven, I totally agree, the fact that there is a possibility of getting xtra points through un-sincere means sucks!!Specially if the nº of points make a difference latter on !

I don't think I want to be on the leader board. I want to fly under the radar until I can see what the DI is up to.
I'm also wondering if there is a "cheat" to getting Dharma points like there was for the test. I don't feel like creating multiple e-mail accounts for this. Maybe the DI want to see who is willing to do anything to get on the leader board for a reason.

I figured you only got points if your recruit actually took the tests themselves. So just filling in email addresses wouldn't matter. But maybe I'm wrong.

Ok, so I just heard from lost_grrl (who's on the top ten) and she has no idea how she got in it. Apparently she didnt cheat so her score in test one must be in the high 80's low 90's, 10 points for recruiting someone and....that's it! She thinks(as do I) that's it either a combination of all we've had to do so far, or just plain random (phew!dont feel so bad...I thought all top 10 had 9999points or whatever)

I've been very busy this week and having been keeping up with the comments so I might have missed something. But I've seen references to the BS group. What is the BS group?
I'm in Pandora with 10 DPs and a score of 99 percent.
Looking at the leaderboard, I clicked on the "What is this?" button, and I found a weird sentence about how to earn DPs:
"To earn Dharma points, recruit a friend into the Volunteer Recruitment Program and take part in any extra tasks set by Head of Recruiting, Hans Van Eeghen."
So there is another way to earn DPs, which is exciting to learn.
The wording for "recruit a friend" is weird to me. Why doesn't it say to recruit friends? Do we only need to recruit one? Also, if someone doesn't recruit anyone, do they not get to do the extra tasks?

We haven't actually done anything yet, but our goals and aim are to take down Hans Van Eeghen, purge the DI again, and subvert the activities of this ARG. LOL

Well I'm Pandora with 100% and I now have 10 dharma points for recruiting my bfriend. I took the test registered etc for him didn't use the cheat and he was immediately assigned to Pandora. So I think its pretty random how we are assigned at the moment. But we might get different tasks to complete.
Also the leader board has changed and Meatball is number 9.
1st account gany did not cheat 85 hight score.
2nd account pan space bar cheat 100%

Well, I am in Ganymede, but have no idea how. I tried taking the test with and without the cheat and can never get passed moving one piece before the game freezes on me. My progress says I have completed the test though. And, of course, I have 0 points because I can never get to the place where you can recruit a friend. Guess I will try the test this week before I give up and watch from the sidelines. *shrug*

I've had that feeling for awhile now. Wasn't the first DI all a facade with Pierre Chang having multiple alias's and the hatches all being a cover for something else? Why would this be any different?

maybe the grouping thing is the result of actual profiling (the picture test)....don't forget abc is running this thing and has a lot of $$$$ to make this arg happen...besides, alot of psychology and profiling go into marketing as it is

Yeah, I would welcome the chance to do some rifling around a DI office or something like what we did in Find815. They could even let us try to navigate through the 305' hole to get the the island maybe...if we get through, we reach the island circa 2008, and if not, the island circa 1978.

On the right is something interesting: next to heading "status" is "current group" and then next to the press space test is your group(in my case pandora)...is this implying that one may or may not change groups depending on your tasks results???? what i'm seeing here is that you are NOT locked in to one group.....thoughts?
