Carlton and Damon explain what is going on (sort of) 253

A new email was received today that takes us to DHARMASPECIALACCESS.COM, by using the password in the email you can view a video of Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof who explain what Dharma Special Access is all about, and it seems the ARG is over for now.

UPDATE 12/5/08- We've received word from a reader that the process for choosing questions for Damon and Carlton's DSA Q&A has begun. Potential questioners are being e-mailed in preparation for the event, so stay tuned...

I tried to get the ringtone, but the link took me here which didn't do anything. Did I do something wrong? I have an iPhone.

I got the same link on iPhone, so I e-mailed it to myself and then downloaded it to my computer. It's a cds file which I tried to convert to both MP4 and MP3...no dice, and probably not even a little bit worth all the trouble. Basically the moral of the story is if you have an iPhone, and the file can't be made into a standard digital sound form we're S.O.L. I'm afraid.

Thanks Ange. I was afraid of that.

Hi, ange... did I hear you were sick??? (again? little buggers and their germs... lol)

Sayid'sgirl, that's some really great researching! I did message NOTLOST about it. His reply:
"The passage Damon read is one of the better know one's...Hurling is a very big sport here played with a Hurley stick and is just a coincidence that our friend Hugo goes by that name! The 'shoneen games' ect is more to do with Irish nationalism than anything,so I wouldnt be looking too much into it!!

Black Swan said...

Oh, and I was reading somewhere that Hurley got his nickname from the hurley chevy corvette or something like that...

Love the idea of a Hurley stick with John 3:16 inscribed on it.. lol I like the idea of Eko coming back to Lost even better!!! (He did tell Locke, "You're next" right before he died)

Hi yourself Codysmom/Black Swan. Yeah, I'm sick again. It seems I'm just prone to debilitating colds this year. I feel bad for my students though, who are now minus a teacher again until I feel better. Although it's because they keep coming to school with juicy, drippy colds that I am in this state I suppose. Even though I am a maniacal hand washer and keep a 40 oz. Germ-X on my desk it seems to be futile.

I've also been in lurker mode, reading comments here and at TLC but not the preview post ones, trying to stay spoiler free. Looking forward to January though when I can get back into the post-watching discussion. PS: I'm not reading Ulysses either, just saying...

Sorry to hear you're sick again. Yeah I wish I had't watched the sneek peek. If there are any more I'll probably skip them. The promos I don't mind, to me it's the same as a promo after the show.
My daughter is going to love your avi, cute little puppies. I call little dogs puppies even if they're grown. Speaking of cute little puppies my daughter misses your cute little Hurley Black Swan.
And thanks for the info from NOTLOST.

kinda a cheesy ring tone if you ask me lol

memphish said...

Thanks for that link. It is pretty cheesy. But I'm glad I at least had the opportunity to hear it.

Black Swan said...

Yeah, I think it's kinda cheesy, too... lol. I don't think I'll bother putting it on my phone (unless it gives me further access to something fun, which I doubt)

Tess315 said...

Thanks ange.
She said to tell you she loved it.
Her words were ohhhh they're so cuuute.

Black Swan said...

Sayid'sgirl, I sent something for you and your daughter on myspace, too.. lol!

I'm not going to bother with that ringtone!

Sorry to hear all your pre-cautions did you no good, Ange! It's just that time of year. Just look at your dog pictures and you'll feel better.

"Ulysses" is definitely not on my reading list....please don't add it to the Book Club, ML! LOL

Hey, dennis... I just noticed you haven't been on your myspace since mid-Sept., so I had quit sending you things there... I guess you don't use it anymore (everybody's gone to Facebook, lol!)

Ellen said...

Dennis, from an ol' Irish girl, a toast of 'whine' (or Irish whiskey, if you prefer) to you:

"We drink to your coffin. May it be built from the wood of a hundred year old oak tree that I shall plant tomorrow."

Cheers!
and Happiest of Birthdays to you!

Black Swan said...

Ok, Dennis, I just sent you some flashy stuff on your myspace, lol. I've been having fun with a new photo editing program called PhotoScape. It's a free download and kind of fun.

Black Swan, thank for all the MySpace photos. Yeah, I don't check it very often. I really only signed up for MySpace to play the Lost Experience and Cloverfield ARGs.

Black Swan said...

Capcom said...

Happy Bday here too Dennis!

Codysmom, I would like to download Photoscape, it looks neat, and you've done some awesome things with it. Just to make sure I'm not downloading a fake and viruses, is the website www.photoscape.org? Tx!

Hey guys..

Capcom, sorry this is so late getting back to you.. the site for photoscape is:

www.photoscape.org

Every time I open it, I run a quick scan, just to make sure. But, yeah, for free it's a good program. I'm still having fun learning.

Ange, that's hilarious!

Tess315 said...

Hey guys
There's some good cast photos over at DarkUFO for anyone interested.

Tess315 said...

Yep that piece of fuselage. lol
After I posted that I took another look and realized what it was.
I know that's interesting. And it's full of the stuff from the group photo, chair, monitor and lamp. hmmm

Hi! People are finding their way to the new DSA already (I haven't gotten my e-mail yet). You can go here to watch the new vids:

http://find815greece.blogspot.com/2008/12/dharma-special-access-week-4.html

The first one seems to be answers to some of the questions submitted by "white swans". The second is a sneak peek with Ben and Jack (somewhat spoilery).
