TaV - that's what I'm trying - in a bowl of rice, and a few 10 minute trips to a 125 degree oven (in the rice).

MadAriad, the one thing I've heard about wet phones or iPods is to be sure they are dry before turning back on. Like give it a week. Which is not great advice, but the thing I was told is that if you turn it on while still wet is that the heat of being on plus the wet will kill it.
I haven't read it yet, but good to hear it is spoiler free for the most part. Hey memphish- does that tartan plaid hold any significance for you, did you just pick it because it looks nice?

I have no advice for you on your phone MadAriad. My son has a motorola flip phone nowhere near as complex as yours. I ran it through 2 wash cycles because a friend's car got stuck in the mud a he was doing the pushing. I didn't know it was in his pocket. I took it out of the washer and turned it on and it worked just fine. Hopefully you'll have the same luck.
Sorry about the i-phone. I have a terrible habit of washing cellphones. . .lots of times it doesn't break them amazingly enough.

Sayid's Girl -- The plaid is a rough homage to Desmond. The Generator Blog linked to a plaid generator and I generated it. It's not the Hume tartan though which does in fact exist.

I absolutely love Doc Jensen's theory. It's just like Darlton to throw us all off. And now it would make perfect sense. I don't believe any of his column would be a spoiler, but, just in case, that's all I'll say.

Ok Doc's theory. I knew where he was going with it when he emphasized raised. I like it, and I don't think it's to far fetched actually. I agree with the first part of his explanation. The second part I thought he was going to go with bring him back they way we took it the first time. After what they do what he suggests in the first part. Was that to vague to understand? LOL

Wow, just read Doc Jensen's article. I like the theory as much as you guys. Gives me the creeps a little though. You're right memphish- we shouldn't get too attached to it though. I'm not sure how many of Doc's crazy theories have been known to come true. But this one sure is a fun one to think about.

As far as Doc Jensen's big theory, we (maybe it was me) raised that idea at the end of last season, didn't we? At least I know I've been wondering and thinking it would fit with either. The storyline that goes along with that theory also fits with the Ben/Widmore war and who's trying to pull the strings in which direction. LOL, that was vague, but everybody is so scared of spoilers here (although it's just a theory, so...)
I think we'll get something from Ajira in tonight's sneek peak!

I don't know. Richard I think is suppose to chose the next leader. He may have chosen wrong. Abaddon seems to want people on the island. He wanted the science team there. I don't think he had anything to do with Keamy and his crew. And he wanted Locke to go on a walkabout. He told Locke he'd see him again. I'm not sure if he's a counterpart to Richard or not. I'm not sure what Abaddon's wants yet. Why he wanted the science team on the island and why he seemed to be guiding Locke towards the island.

I know that Doc Jensen theory is a mind blower when you try to figure out how it fits in with the Ben/Widmore war. Every time I try to ponder who is on whose side and which side I should root for, I get a brain hiccup. But it's been a long time since my brain hurt so bad, so it's good in a way. Seems my comment is as confusing as a LOST episode.
BTW- maven and I are getting REALLY SERIOUS about going to ComicCon this year. So if you have any inkling of going....let us know! Come on you guys, it'll be the last year for LOST, it'll be fun, it's only a weekend...you can do it!

Yeah - Mr. MadAriad found out last night. I spent all day worrying about how I was going to break it to him. When he got home he was going on and on about some other way we're spending too much money, and I had to tell him. He says if it's broken I don't get a new one.... :-(
Fortunately, it's not as bad as it could be: I know someone who actually broke their shoulder and ruined all his tendons & stuff in his arm because he was trying to save his phone from the spin cycle.

Hi all. Just a ?. If our flight leaves LAX at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and travels 12 hours to Guam. What time is it in Guam? I'm just assuming that we are going to get some type of clue during the S5 premier. If we are assume that the 10 people we booked are in fact our Losties, then something doesn't work. Without being too spoilerish, I will try to ask this question. Are we going to Guam and to further destinations (assuming this is an ARG) in front Jack and Company? If not, the S5 would start on a plane over the Pacific. Ok, maybe there's no answer to this, just something I was thinking. Looking forward to quality time in Guam. I could use a couple of days in the sun.
