It certainly points towards Texas in my view, but it is a long way from being confirmed yet.

My immediate thought was that the star looks similar to the stars on the US flag, and one star = first state = Delaware. Then seeing that it's called star6, I thought maybe it's the sixth state, which would be Massachusetts. Or by googling to find out what the sixth state was, I found this website: http://sixthstate.com, which is totally blank.

Yes it was me who bought a frame and it was too small for the print. The frame was 18x24 but it was slightly too small.
I didn't try to dig it out I just turn the frame over and tapped it and it fell out. Thank goodness. All I could think was I paid 50 dollars for this and I'm not going to ruin it.
I found a store online and ordered one from there.The site had a BBB logo so I felt safe using it. It took 4 days to get it and if fits perfectly.
The one I got from the craft store was 35 dollars. The one I ordered was 30.18 with 9.95 shipping. The one I ordered was much better quality. I got the frame, foam backing board, lens cover, hangers and wire.
The site said it came unassembled but it actually was assembled. I had to take off one side and take out the backing and lens cover to remove the plastic film from the lens cover. put it all back in put on the metal hangers and the wire put back on the side and viola perfect print. IMO anyway. :)Oh the frame is aluminum by the way.
For what its worth...the Stars on the Logo for the Silver Star Casino located in the American Indian owned Pine Ridge Resort in Mississippi look very similar to the one on DC&PB sight.....mel

There is a big Cowboys/Giants game this week. That is def. the logo for the cowboys. Maybe the clue has to do with that. The game is in Dallas. I think the Lone Star comics seems like a good choice as well.
It's not even remotely the same color or shape as the Cowboys logo.
If it was the Cowboys game, maybe the URL would air during the game. NBC, (which broadcasts the game), owns Syfy, which airs some LOST episodes.
Maybe it is the game? I don't know.

The only thing that I will add is the nature of the image. The light is coming from all directions. So computer generated (copy and paste points, with a little Photoshop action). I did find similar 'stars' at Paramount Pictures and they do have event "Paranormal" next week.

The Tim Stotz site isn't really for family viewing so I'm fairly sure Tim is completely out of game.
A connection with Rock Star is that the Australian band INXS were a one of the bands featured in the show and they often had stars as part of their band logo.

I know when I was searching Rock Star last night (then found out it had been canceled) I noticed that inxs used a star in there logo. Also the x is a different color than the in and s but it's red not pink.
I don't know. I really don't see inxs being a part of this. Which is why I didn't bring it up last night. But who knows.

Lots of shows have people outside handing out promo stuff. Could be worth going down there to walk around outside. Could be handing out stuff, like the bookmarks, with the site on it. Just a thought. I do think the P!nk connection is the correct one though.
Another thought. A lot of times at shows bands hand out promo cds. They usually have 1 or 2 songs on them. Would be really cool if there was a Driveshaft promo team handing out stuff. Maybe, maybe not. I think it would be cool.
