The confirmation of Date and Time is in with a picture of Walt reading a comic book, however it appears to be for today at 9am, has the reveal already happened ? Stay tuned to find out.
After the small faux pas with the date, the hub page is updated
Thanks to Rorschach for telling us first about the new clue, and AmyLynn for pointing out the date discrepancy.
"This is really going to be rough for anyone in Central and Eastern time."
Actually, I think 3 AM is far worse than 5 AM. I hit the sack around 1 AM, out of exhaustion. Getting up around 5AM - 6AM is not that unusual for some full-time workers, so making it a bit earlier isn't as hard as going to sleep for a couple of hours, waking up for the 3 or 4 AM drop, and then going back to sleep again.
How many people are going to go to work and admit to what we are all about to do? "Yeah, I got up this morning at about 4:30 am to buy a poster." Co-worker "Really? A poster? Your nuts." Me - "It was for LOST though." Co-worker"You mean that show I don't understand? Your even crazier than I thought!"
Trial- I'll openly admit it, and they'll openly give me that look they always give me. I've heard similar things. My favorite: "LOST? Is that the show about the plane crash and there's a button in the ground where they want to go back to the island?"
Yes. You've just reduced my favorite show to one run-on sentence. Thank you for that.
Thank god this is happening on my day off! I can survive waking up for an hour to keep an eye out for this, and safely get another 5 hours of sleep! Perfect!
4am wake-up for me here in Kansas City. Yikes. Definitely will need a few more seconds to type without error. Sounds fun now but will be hating it when the horrific alarm sounds at around 4!
I'm starting to think I'm glad this is the last year for LOST- because of all the sleep I've lost and sedentary lifestyle in front of a computer. This show would be the death of me if it went on many more seasons!
Okay, I know I'm full of random questions but how do you log into DCaaPB before the reveal? I usually just log in right before I purchase the poster. Can I log in without making a purchase? I want to be ready!
@Claire - I don't think there is. Even if you log in for a different print, it doesn't log you in for the newly revealed URL. It will, however, remember your profile information if you've bought before. Credit card info will also need to be re-entered. Unless there is something I don't know, which might explain why I haven't been higher than the 13th buyer on any prints to date...
So after waking up almost every on hour on the hour since 10pm... I'm up for the rest of the night... or now day. Hats off to those did not go to sleep.
@comixguru - thanks for adding me to Twitter. I've not embraced, still figuring how I can balance professionally/personally. :)
I actually hardly slept at all last night =D So excited! It's quarter past 7 the now, leaving in an hour to hopefully miss the majority of the traffic!
well it is better then getting a tote or whatever. I think if you show up at a place you should get something of unique value...like a tote to hold a limited edition poster.
@light rail coyote know what you mean. I'm in Seattle as well and don't want to think about having to depend on the crappy T-mobile coverage and my G1 to log on and buy.
@Zort - still 5 more reveals... if I was DCAPB, I'd do one at your house.
@Justin - picked up the new Blackberry just in case I wasn't near a computer, have practiced enough to "think" I could use if needed to buy. The things we do... :)

feelin' the Texas love :) Right back atcha!
@ekonomics - When I ordered my Hatch print, I used a Debit card and it worked just fine.
I think as long as it has a visa or mastercard symbol on it you shouldn't have any problems.
I hope so anyway as I don't have a credit card.

I usually sleep 1 to 9, so 5 is smack in the middle there. I hope my alarm wakes me up.

Maybe this will be the one time being woken up by my 9 month-old son will be a blessing?

scoutpost - agreed. Fewer hours in the day to keep up with this stuff. But I love it...
The Love Triangle is showing "Sold Out" again - must be people practicing for the morning.

No guilt, Lora - nothing wrong with being prepared.
I'm off to bed for a few hours. See you all then.

Morning all, I'll work on an as it happens post in a short while.
zort you going to buchanan street or trying to score a print?
I think if you show up at a place they should have at least 20 prints first come/first served.
Morning y'all!
Light Rail Coyote- that would be awesome and heartbreaking at the same time. :)
Light... there were 91 available as of Monday... I got #1909...
well it is better then getting a tote or whatever. I think if you show up at a place you should get something of unique value...like a tote to hold a limited edition poster.
Total respect to those who go to places rather then hitting F5. If there was something in Seattle I would be real hestitant to go.
I'm afraid that as it is this morning I can't make it to Glasgow.
@light rail coyote know what you mean. I'm in Seattle as well and don't want to think about having to depend on the crappy T-mobile coverage and my G1 to log on and buy.
awe Andrew. Lovely NW mist we are having eh
andrew, i used my G1 to buy the swan and got it.
"you can do it!"
Blessed be the kidney, for they are a better alarm clock than the Sony
MEL
i was sitting in a panera having a meeting with a client when i got the swan
I was at work when I saw the Swan and passed. I hope we get a good one tonight after staying up late/getting up early!
@Zort - still 5 more reveals... if I was DCAPB, I'd do one at your house.
@Justin - picked up the new Blackberry just in case I wasn't near a computer, have practiced enough to "think" I could use if needed to buy. The things we do... :)
I've created a NEW POST to discuss all the happenings from this morning.
Good Morning! Or evening if you're down under like me. Getting ready and am really excited. God to see we've got someone going. Thankyou Sophie!
@Mel... good reminder for all to take care of any business in the next 45 minutes.
@light rail coyote why yes it is such a lovely mist! Good thing I've got a couple more Snow Caps in the fridge!
@justin I'm sure if they do something in Seattle I'll have to try it. I'm going for the full set though and would hate to miss out!
