The confirmation of Date and Time is in with a picture of Walt reading a comic book, however it appears to be for today at 9am, has the reveal already happened ? Stay tuned to find out.

I just called Forbidden Planet. The shop shut at 8pm tonight, 1hr ago. When I said thanks anyway, I'll see you at 9am he laughed. I asked him if he knew anything about DCaaPB, he said he had never heard of it. I said oh well expect a few people when you open at 9!

I have no idea i'm losing my mind. The UK turned their clocks back last weekend, I can't figure out the time difference on the east coast now, I used to think there was a 6 hour time difference which would now make it a 5 hour time difference, but I think this is wrong, it may be 4 hours.
Still confused. Did I buy the poster? And did I like it? I can't remember.
I have to go out...but I need to stay at the computer in case something happens...ugh, typically LOST screwing with our minds!

This is probably redundant by now but I see they seem to have made yet another silly mistake with time zones -- unless of course they think we can turn a Wheel and *blink* back to the past.
So if they meant 10.29.2009 the revael will be 5AM ET, 4AM CT and 2AM PT.
So maybe they'll give away DCaaPB comics -- that'd be fun in and of itself.
CuInAnotherLifeBrother -- I called the Glasgow store last night (my time) and the guy who answered the phone said he knew nothing (of course).
While they may have had this planned for awhile, MEL may have been right -- maybe they're catching on to our frustration at these last few prints selling out at what seems like ligh speed, so they've timed the reveal in the early hours of the AM.
I would doubt they'd wait another 5-7 hours to let the site go BUY NOW.
my guess is that they're doing it to help the asian/european contingent out, as almost all of the other drops have happened in the middle of the night for them.

Well, sort of glad I don't have to go to Glasgow now, though it is still weird that it's JUST Glasgow. I mean, what's wrong with the forbidden planet just down the road from where I work? Is Birmingham not good enough for them?

Well, i'll be up, bright and early to buy this poster and will treat it as if i'm buying concert tickets. Last concert I bought tickets for, bought them two minutes before they were on sale. Let's hope for a repeat performance.

The UK turned their clocks back last weekend, are you taking that into account?
My worldclock says it's 9:30 in the U.K. right now. Last night I asked CUINANOTHERLIFE what time it was and we confirmed a 4 hour time difference between east coast and the U.K., he explained to me the time change in the U.K.
Well - a good time for us - commiserations to the US people. I will just get to work late because i can't guarantee i will be there at 9am! I did get up at 3am to see the Fallout Boy reveal so sorry for those feeling our pain!!!
Do you think it may go on sale later in the day though?
Funny that is says 28th - I spoke to them around 9.30am this morning and no joy so pretty sure it didn't happen this morning.

YES!!!! Finally after getting up between 2 and 3:30am all these times I finally get one in the afternoon!! 7:30pm this afternoon. Excellent. Sorry to all those who have to wake up. Try and get up a bit early because it can be hard to judge the poster when you're still sleepy.

Andy. I am so happy for you. Right after the ep aired I had a dream where Desmond handed a book to me. I asked him what it was. He told me it was called "The Constant." I woke up with chills.
This has to be the best give away ever.

Wow...I made a comment a few days ago about when I wish this would happen. It was followed by an "I'll see what I can do" by an Anonymous, and we actually got a time where I'm not shirking work to watch! I really need to get this one. I'll be ready with coffee in the morning.

It's interesting to see say I'm going to buy it if I like it or not. Try and remember if you do someone who does like it will probably miss out. I've seen a lot of people say to just but anything since the last poster sold out so quickly but I don't really understand it. If you don't like it why take it from someone who does? It's not like everyone who wanted one of the swan got one... I mean do whatever you want I'm not trying to be the moral police or anything but I just felt like pointing that out.
I agree scottbphilp. Only get the print if you want it. Good intentions if you buy for someone else...but it's just best to leave them alone if you don't want it.

For an unrelated story (sommething I suggest we do to pass the time) I am gonna tell you a tiny story about me, a cattle trailer, and a traffic jam.
Few years back, in my home town, cowtown, I was on I35 about 15 miles outside downtown moving briskly when traffic came to a sudden crawl. 1/8 of a mile ahead of me cattle trailer rolled over and got stuck down in the median. The cows got loose, and about 18 were milling about in the 3 lane highway. Now I know you think this is gonna be a long story, so let me drag you through some needless diatribe about how you think it is gonna be a long story, but it really aint. So anyway, short story made long but going short again, the traffic jam lasted 14 minutes as no less than 20 people hopped out of their trucks with lasso's (both north and south bound travelers) and rounded up the herd. Just average texans lending a hand.
Remind me not to tell you about the 1300lb hog on that very same stretch of road, lassos were useless.
Finally, a reveal time that works for the 1st shift working person (EST)...thank you TPTB...please keep it up

Have fun in Austin, shop in dallas, sweat in houston, but live in FTW if possible.
off all the artists so far, i could see you guys getting into Dans stuff the easiest. rob jones does some really great work, not many art prints, but top notch gigposters. i personally love leia bells stuff, but i know what people say about the childlike drawings. methane makes some of the most consitant and best gigposters in the world, but once again not many art prints.
so in short Dan is your man.

First- Congrats Andy!! That is one SWEET prize. Dang. So jealous.
Second- 2am? oh my. I'm not worried so much about the 2am reveal as I am about waiting until it goes to "buy now". Hopefully it will follow the same time frame, I don't want to be up ALL night (although I have done it before in the name of LOST).
Third- I wonder if my fingers can type as fast and as accurate at 2:30am as they do at 10:30am? Hopefully this one will weed out a few purchasers.
I wish I could go to bed now, but alas I have a houseful of kids to get cleaned up and in bed. Tonight may be the night I start drinking coffee.

The toughest part for me in the PST time zone is staying awake until 2AM! I usually crash at 11PM! You all better keep talking to me so I keep my eyes open!
