«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 206 of 206The official SOLD OUT banner is up on the DCPB site already. That was fast!
As someone who is trying to collect the whole set... I'm getting concerned at the speed at which these are starting to sell out. If you aren't sitting at the computer mashing away at F5 the nanosecond that they open it up... you're not going to get a poster! I think this pretty much ends the "Poster Buddy" system. :-(
Anyone have an order number before 1674? (Congested)
The url again never made it to DCPB. If we didn't have people going to these events we'd never get any prints.
White Stripes...LOST...Rob Jones...All in one Poster.
GUTTED!!!
Thanks to LostinLondon for trying for me, the Internet was messed up for me on the train home so really grateful she decided to help me.
It seems that this is the way it's going to be all the way to the end of this ARG, so we better get used to it rather than shouting. I'm sort of glad really because I love rob jones and partially bought purely because it's him but this was a little weak for him, even though I still love the poster with it's edgey swan showing the change as the 108 time reached the hieroglyphs. Loved it. Really loved it.
*Off to go re-convince myself that I don't want it*
One last time, thanks for the chance to get one LostinLondon, this is the reason I love this site and all Lost fans. Now give me the next clue for the next poster.
I'm hoping at this point that the producers and marketing people from Lost can see how much demand there is by the fans for these posters, and to do something about it. Their stated purpose at the beginning of all this was to to "do something for the fans". If the fans want these posters, why make it in such a limited fashion?
I think the best solution would to do one of two things:
1. After all posters are revealed, make a complete set of lithographic posters available to people. These are much cheaper to produce than screen prints, and would make them available to however many people wanted them. It could also allow people who tried to collect the whole set, to "fill in" the missing posters, albeit with a slightly lower quality poster.
2. After all posters are revealed, continue to offer non-numbered and non-signed copies of the screen prints. They can even keep the same price if they want. For people like me who love the artwork, not having the number and signature would not be a deal-breaker.
Does anyone else out there have any other idea?
