I'm happy to have finally been able to get a poster. I haven't tried for many of them, because I didn't want to buy one that I wasn't crazy about. But that strategy doesn't pay off - plus, by the time I get the poster and see it, I might really love it. But if I dont, I will happily trade it to another fan.

Horrible experience with all the refreshing and error message. I got to the order confirmation page and then after a final slow load and eventual refresh, it just told me that my cart was empty and then that the print was sold out. Bummer.
But minutes later, I got a gomerch e-mail. I figured it was another oversell mistake. Then a little bit after that I got a second Midfew e-mail with an actual order number. So I think I might have one after all--my stomach hurts.
Order #2625, which seems too low to be an oversell...

It is depressing to me that the Buy Now button that wouldn't let me press it is still on my screen not doing anything.
I can understand a site crashing when too many poeple are usuing it at once, and even the SQL errors that happened last week (that apparently many managed to still survive), but having a button that doesnt work in the first place just really bums me out. :(

To all the people that claim this is not fan appreciation, what are your suggestions. Be glad you got/had the chance to get a couple posters while it was slow. Also, it is the fellow Losties that are pushing the prices up so high. Seems to me that the people willing to pay $800+ are bigger fans than those who aren't. Or should their be some sort of trivia test in order to even enter your information to buy one.

I am all for moving the trades, and getting back to those of us that missed venting.
I mean this is the only store I have shopped in the world where something can be in your checkout basket, only to find after you hand the cashier your CC, that someone else took the one you had in your basket, handed the cashier their card, and the cashier was just cool with it.

Just updated the header graphic and Twitter background and realised how close this is to the end, when it started and we had a whole row of question marks it seemed like this would take forever !
From what I saw of the checkout process (which included a new, big, 'Sold Out' picture), I don't think there will be any oversells on this one at all. Also, the order numbers so far are all within 188 of the lowest order number.
