Lost Season 5 Deleted Scene - Finding LaFleur 86
Buena Vista Home Entertainment has sent over a new video from LOST: The Complete Fifth Season. The clip is titled "Finding LaFleur", and it is a deleted scene from Namaste, featuring Juliet Burke and Miles Straume at the underground security office at the Dharma barracks.

Yes, releassing all the good stuff before the DVD's / Blu Ray are officially out does seem kind of odd.

As we're gearing up for the holidays, just wanted to share a quick and new music favorite - a group called the Ambassadors of Harmony released a Christmas CD last year(?) -165-person a capella chorus - beautiful, moving music. Original arrangements as well - Do You Hear What I Hear builds to a wonderful climax. I am in no way connected to this group if you are wondering. Thanks for indulging me.

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet... but there is a really well done Spanish promo for Season 6. Because of the embargo on any actual footage from Season 6, they came up with a really cool looking ad, using footage from the other seasons, combined with a chess board theme. I wish ABC would make some ads with a little more flair, like this one:

Patmc, Thorsten posted a link earlier today but it's good you posted again so everyone can catch this amazing promo. Someone went to an extraordinary amount of work on this one. I think this runs a close second to the classic Channel 4 promo:

Comixguru, it is interesting isn't it. You would think that a property as hot as LOST would be tightly controlled with consistency across territories. It's amazing that different channels in different territories seem to have carte blanche to play with it.

Turns out my dad went to 44th Diner in 99 for a conference and said that the food there was amazing and was confused as to why they went there to begin with.
Adding 44th to my list of to do's when I attempt Route 66 in 2011.
Oh yeah, I remember that Channel 4 promo, I was so confused as to what the hell the show was about, I thought it was a brand reality show to replace that crappy shipwrecked show, so wasn't looking forward to it I remember. Glad I went and tried it out though, otherwise, I wouldn't be here right now.
Wasn't it done by some big producer, David LaChappelle I think cus I kept getting him confused with Dave Chappelle.

Thought it was, but was a very bizarre advert I remember.
But Locke as the conductor was a striking image for me and still sticks with me to this day, don't know why, there was just something about him.

The Spanish promo is awesome. Radiohead and LOST together is a great combination.
That Channel 4 add is what got me hooked before it started !
Yes, those are the best promos. One is kind of Fellini-ish, and the newer one is Prisoner-ish. :-)
To the job in hand again for a moment if I may... If the 16th reveal is going to be anything other than another single print, why would Galleries 1988 state in the text of each print: "This is the xxth print, of an eventual set of 16"?
I think it will be a single print. The reveal may be different based on the red question mark in the frame and the 15 will be lost the 16th will be found.
I think the print will be traditional but the manner of the reveal and sale will be unique.
This last frame is going to push me over the edge!

Just doing some reverse i.p. checking and did you know that abc.com also own the domain lost-movie.com . I know darlton said they'd never do that, but kind of weird never the less.

the lost-movie domain was created 2 days before the day before the Lost first episode aired.
In 2004 they were a bit more jumpy about registering domains to prevent domain squatters from raping them if they decided to move forward on a project, so they routinely snatched domains they thought they might need before public interest for it was there.
I am pretty sure that is the case with this domain too.
it was moved to DIG servers once the DIG servers came online. some guy is in charge of migrating all the disney owned domains to the DIG servers now.

Wonder if the different #s in the first purchase letters mean anything? Some kind of code or overthinking, one or the other I'm sure.
I haven't watched this deleted scene because I am trying so hard to have new stuff to watch on my new dvd set (which I hope they hurry up and get out already!) I can't wait to see all of the stuff the DHARMA box comes with!

Hey everyone, sorry for not partaking in the discussion on the last poster. Thanksgiving week was hectic for my family, three brothers home from college! Barely had any time to do anything. I did follow along and I have to say this print was...kinda bad. I had my brother try for it because I was at work, but I'm glad I missed out. I've never been a fan of Jay Ryan's work and I feel he "half-assed" this one. Don't get me wrong, he's obviously very talented. Just not my cup-o-tea I suppose.

@Edward...ugh, this is why I don't really post anything anymore. No one can just give their opinion here. LET ME CLARIFY...compared to Jay's other work, I feel he "half-assed" this. Maybe "half-assed" is too strong, but I feel his other work is much better. Obviously, I would need to see the print in person, but since I never will I figured I'd give my two cents. Jay Ryan is good, just not one of my favorites. And I feel this print is not one of his best prints.

Last week I emailed several at Methane Studios about "The Dharma Van" print's "split 15," as promised in the podcast. Got the reply today....
"I wish I had a good conspiracy story for you but it's just a coincidence."
Make of it what you will... personally I think this further suggests there are no clues in the posters.
Oh.. in the interest of full disclosure this was my email:
"We over at lostargs.com were discussing "The Dharma Van" poster during
a recent podcast, and were wondering if there was any significance to
one of the 15s on the poster being split into two colors (the '1' is
darker and the '5' is lighter'). Some have theorized that there are
hidden 5's in all of the posters, on the producers direction, though I
think that this is perhaps less significant that some may think.
Is there any info on the poster's production, as well as the "split"
15 that you could share with us to be included in a future post on the
blog or podcast?

@ Insanity - I an not a fan either, generally or this one particularly. I wouldn't call it half-assed but it doesn't move me or do anything else either. If I was going to buy a Ryan it would be the bag of lightning, not this bear hiding in the grass with beer.

Hey folks. So I've been lucky enough to get 7 prints so far. I figured I'd get whichever ones I could along the way and then evaluate them once everything wrapped up. I've looked over the prints and decided that I don't like a couple as much as the rest, so I wanted to offer them up to the real fans here who may have missed out. I'm making the Swan and the Barracks available at the price I paid plus shipping. @AttorneyGreg...agreed. The print just doesn't do anything for me. It's just...there. I guess my half-assed comment was a bit much. But I kinda saw it as a backwards-compliment because Ryan has such a great following. I guess I just expected more. Though, when I heard his name rumored I kinda figured it was going to be a polar bear.

Someone a thread or so ago mentioned that that P-bear poster looked a little like an old fashioned illustration, and I agree, that makes me like it more. I hope that I can swing affording to keep it so that I don't have to sell it. With the holiday expenses coming and all. Perhaps I'll just ask for money for Xmas, to pay for it, heheh.
