I got errors too when checking out. I just kept hitting refresh and it eventually took me to the next step, then to the check out.

I agree with Masheen, even crazier than last week.
Got a fatal error at every stage as soon as the Buy It Now button went up, then then the "Sorry we just ran out of item #13" that so many are seeing.
It has to be ude to the insane numbers of people now trying to buy these, as I recall when some of the previous posters went up for sale I had no problems with the site and was on a much slower computer/connection.
@Capcom, yeah Im Order 26.. and I think Andy even beat that with 2324 (punk!) so youd be over 200 away.

After each page I got the error message - refreshed and the order moved forward - I think this one is in my top half - will look great on the office wall. Makes up for the Daniel Danger Frustration...

Would love one, anything from one of these reveals. Closest reveal to me was Glasgow and that was a 5 hour drive away. On top of that, I entered a draw for the Widmore Board and the guy just seems to have disappeared for whatever reason so I'm waiting on their return to see if I can have one.
So yeah, keep us tuned! I'm sure we'd all be more than willing to pay postage costs. Well I would anyway.
Also, a thought. This is a fresh URL from the leaked ones, maybe it was bought just to replace the mess up with the swan station. Makes sense seeing as a lot of people saw that URL.

Because of timeouts and database issues, people might have had order numbers that got canceled, hence an order number range greater than 200.

Well all the news about these errors is not encouraging. It's bad enough to do all you can from our side much less having to wonder if the order process is even going to work correctly. Oh well, guess it's the nature of the beast.

It's an edition of 300. Why are people using 200 as the magic benchmark to determine potential refunds. Assume the artist gets 25 - 50 to sell, I'd say everyone that's posted a confirm number is ok.
I got all the way to the checkout process and kept getting errors along the way. It then showed my checkout screen and stated it had sold out. I stared for a few minutes wondering how I could get that far and had clicked check out what I believe to be successfully only to be told it was sold out. I then "refreshed" the browser and got the order confirmation number and two emails were generated in my inbox so I was able to get one.

I was order #2521 and just got an email saying they oversold and my order was cancelled. :(
I was able to get one, order numbers started with "25" as everyone seems to be reporting, but someone mentioned the highest was 2526. My order number's last two digits are in the 30's. My problem was I got in right away, got all the way to the check out and I think it sent the info to the servers to complete the order but on my screen it just froze up, and then when I clicked refresh as someone else said, it showed up as confirmed and order went through.

The highest number that's been posted is just a touch over 200 more than the lowest number. So, I'm guessing everyone that posted a number is ok.

if they can fix the ERRORS, I'll be happy, I have no problem racing if given a fair shake and allowed IN the process. I don't mind competing with art collectors, etc...that's a reality we cannot avoid so why get your BP up over it...I just mind not being able to enter the race because of website errors...it's beyond weak, especially when your speed has gotten you an almost complete collection...
I know there are more deserving people, but since I've invested HUNDREDS of dollars in this ARG, I'd like a fair shake in the ordering process (and yes, that gives me a right to complain)

These errors are unavoidable. It happens every time a popular poster drops. There is nothing that can be done when thousands of hits occur simultaneously. It isn't poor coding or slow hardware, it is a fact of life.

I have to agree. This has been fun. The posters have been such a cool thing but I think my life will ease a bit when I am no longer worried about clues and planning my life around when I have to be at my computer hitting refresh. Oh the life of being a Lost fan.

Anyway, here are my "thoughts behind the design" since I know some of you all like hearing this kind of stuff.
When I was presented with the gig, my moment was described to me as "the moment where you learn that the others live in houses."
I personally loved that episode a lot and wanted to do the moment justice. (if at all possible) T
o me, the thing that made that moment so great was how casually the scene was shot. Just a nice normal, sunny day, with cookies in the over and a record on the turntable, then a quick plane crash and you learn the others live in house. It was the "casual fee of the moment" that I tried to capture and think I did an ok job of it. I added my own subtle touches like the laundry blowing on the line, a lawn chair outside and a very faint smoke cloud coming from beind the mountains to indicate the recent crash of flight 815 that happend just after we learn the others have homes.
Knowing the following the show has and the insane amount of discussion and detail that the fans discuss about the show, I made sure to use accurate refence for all of the elements of the show. The house is based on one of the actual homes on the island and the mountain range behind the home is from the island as well.

kiwi gets it. these prints exist and it's been a long time that they have been hidden. it's not crazy to think the last three have been seen by people around here.
That's possible but I think we would have seen a leak or something by now. If people actually saw the final posters then why would they even mention it on here? Especially if they are part of the promotion.

well seeing the print and getting a picture of the print is totally different. it would be a totally crap move to get a picture of one of the prints and put the artist in some sort of legal trouble.
I would hate to have seen the legal confidentiality contract these guys (like d&l) must have signed! Would make your eyes water Im sure! Dont ever ever mess with the mouse...
