We have been sent the first purchaser letter for Poster 14, Joe Dale has done it for the second time.
It again contains the number 44, and also says "...because right after the Holiday - I'm sure everyone will be grilling us for new clues."
Which reminds me, Happy Thanksgiving to all that are celebrating.
Kiwilostie pointed out that we have a missing word "....and one the sheets in your pamphlet..." - missing "of"

first? Happy Turkey day USA :)
maybe grilling is a clue, since we know 44 is?
Well done Joe, thats no mean feat given the present situation! @ in a row. Phew! My hats off...
Argh! 2 in a row! HJGFGHFFHJFGHF!
Congrats Joe! And a better first prize than the ping pong balls too!
I've got to say, everyone will be grilling us?
Throw Another Shrimp On The Barbie!
Says it all really.
Oh and happy Thanksgiving to all you US ARGers! Hope it's very un-stressful for you all!
Martyn, good point! Happy T Day to all my USA'ian friends! Enjoy, and all the best.
The sentence that starts with "Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving..." is very awkward, especially the next part that says "we're enjoying..." I think it should say "are enjoying..."
Thoughts?
So I guess that means no more clues until after Thanksgiving. Do you all think "right after" means the next clue will post on Friday?
Not sure what to make of "grilling". All I see is the same thing Martyn just posted -- Throw another shrimp on the barbie -- Australia?
I don't understand how people get multiple first-orders! My mind just boggles at the speed at which their computers and fingers must run, haha.
Congrats, Mr. Joe Dale!
Oh, and congrats Joe, for 2 in a row. I really have to get cracking on that telepathic internet interface. :)
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and we're enjoying some time away from the computer, because right after the Holiday -- I'm sure everyone will be grilling us for clues!
Roxanna -- I agree, that sentence is weird. The "we're" maybe should have bee "are", but "we're" makes sense with the remaining part of the sentence. So maybe the "and" is just not needed?
44grillnyc.com?
...and one "of" (missing word) the sheets...
Zort - add to the list please!
grilling = barbeque Do you bbq on T Day, or is it too cold? Could be Oz if not...
Good catch kiwi!! "of" missing!
We don't grill outside in the colder states, but it's feasible in the warmer states. At thanksgiving, most of us have turkey and some have ham, usually baked. (Except for those who actually fry their turkey!)
Peter -- here's Google street view of Grill44 in NYC. The gold color of the font in the clue doesn't fit.
Google Street View Grill44
Sorry, that link doesn't work.
Re-do:
Google Street View Grill44
I hope its Australia. Grill/barbeque.. We love having barbeques in hot weather. Its almost summer here.
I'm still thinking Australia, but people have brought up Michigan because it's on the 44th parallel north and U of Mich colors are blue and gold. Grilling in that case could refer to tests/exams.
So, if it is Australia do we have anyone that could go to a reveal...or will this be another surprise a la Buenos Aires?
Maybe it is a shrimp stand in Australia... like the one Sawyer visited when he killed the owner (Frank Duckett). That would be a nice tie in to the show... (shrugs)
Isn't one of the states the Grill State ?
Morning All -
Happy Thanksgiving to all Losties in the USA and to those not in the States... Happy Thursday!
Although most of us do not grill on Thanksgiving, we do grill or "tailgate" at football games... I'm going w/ Martyn's thought of throwing another shrimp on the barbie for the "grilling" reference.
Guess a clue on Friday would be next up.
Oh, and I just noticed this on the Lostpedia front page, regarding Lost airing in Australia. I have no clue if all our Aussie friends already know this or not (as I'm half a planet away from Oz)... but figured it couldn't hurt to mention it. So please forgive me if this is already common knowledge...
"Australian Lost fans should presumably see Lost in primetime slots, rather than waiting until late night, in 2010 due to the launch of Seven's new channel. Channel Seven's long awaited launch of their second digital free-to-air channel, 7TWO, will move many American series across to the new secondary channel. Seven’s Director of Programming and Production Tim Worner stated, “I am pleased to announce that 7TWO will be the new home for premiere episodes of our international hits including JJ Abrams’ Lost, Ugly Betty, Heroes and 24.”
Unless they meant grill, urban slang, which would mean something related to teeth, bling on teeth or cars? LOL, probably not.
Zort -- not that I know of?
@Zort - I went to school in Texas... and it sure seemed like it was the Grill State! LOL! There was a local bar in the seedy part of town, that had the best BBQ I've ever eaten. (sigh) Still wish I could go back some time for some decent ribs...
Oh, and Happy Turkey Day to all us state-siders... :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to fellow US Losties! I have to get a little sleep before the day gets started.
Morning all. Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. friends.
e-mail
Thanks for the thanks, all!
The Damon and Carlton autographs are fantastically exciting. I'll try to post a photo at some point!
Besides the second appearance of 44 (what was the 44th state to join the United States?), I also thought the phrase "that was left out at Abe Lee Realty" might be a meta-clue of sorts, especially since yet another word ('of') was left out of this letter!
And I'm right with you on the "another shrimp on the barbie" - that's what I thought of too when I read 'grilling'.
So, I'm reading the letter to say, no clue on Thursday, next clue on Friday. Anyone else?
No mention of how long to sell-out "Ben Linus" this time...
OK, all done with spewing. Just very excited.
And, yeah, a bit better than ping pong balls! But I'm def not complaining!
Joe, yes I'd guess at a new clue on Friday as well.
Means that the reveal is going to be next week some time ?
By the way I'm still looking for any signature pictures or a full poster picture of The Barracks.
I have soem closeups courtesy of Patmc.
What about a new "favourite poster so far" poll? :)
ImAnnie/Davide/Italy - I think we will wait until the last poster is revealed for that so we can judge them all together.
We have done one every four posters so far.
I thought the next vote would be once everyone has received their poster so it's a fairer vote.
Either that or seeing rev milos poster tour.
I'm guessing comments will be slow today and mainly non-US losties, so I'm going to take a back seat today. Apple are doing a global black Friday so going to get me a new MacBook tomorrow. Can't wait!
Martyn, a new Mac is always exciting. Good luck.
Happy Thanksgiving, and I am so thankful for all my online LOST friends! May your day be blessed...
all over the world!
xxxooo
Happy Thanksgiving everyone in the USA, Happy Thursday everyone else lol May your turkey be moist and not running away, may the maid do all the dishes when the dinner is over and may the kids be pleasant and joyful. lol
... amd may my exam works fine, please :D
Can I see a watermark on that letter - any hints there?
Peter - Thought the same thing, but it looks as if it's the imprint from the Ajiri Castaway Getaway brochure. Maybe Joe can give a bit more insight.
Have searched for food, grilling, or bbq competitions upcoming in Australia this weekend and have come up with nothing.
Yes I'm fairly sure it is just that the letter has been photographed on top of the brochure.
FYI - 44th state was Wyoming.
While my holiday houseguests still sleep, I'm popping in to say happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for the opportunity to have been part of this LOST community for the last few years. I'll be back for clues after I wave bye-bye to the last guest on Friday.
Congratulations, Joe!
Don't have time to read all the posts. I'm trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Anyway don't know if it has been said but the first thing I thought of with grilling is tailgate party. People grill in the parking lot before a football game. Just a thought. It might connect will Michigan and their football team.
Sayid'sgirl, same thought here, however, UofM's season has ended.
Joe Dale, congrats and thanks for sharing the letter.
Kiwilostie, "of" excellent!
LT
Yeah I know. I'm fom Ohio. OSU was their last game.
But I never thought about the season the season being over, good point. Oz it is then. :)
Happy Thanksgiving to all my US Lost friends old and new.
lol I'm doing dishes and typing with gloves sorry about the typos. lol
I'm out til later.
Michigan's football season has ended but the Detroit lions are playing today in their annual thanksgiving day game only 45 minutes from ann arbor. Maybe the grilling comment is referencing that?

Do you guys thing those added numbers have any meaning? Or just some random babble to throw off cheaters?
G'day! Throw another shrimp on the barbie! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Hey friends, is it possible the reveal could happen ON Friday rather than just another clue? A while ago, when I first found out the posters were being handled by Gallery 1988, I told you all in a comment about one of
my fav artists, Luke Chueh. Luke's work is incredibly simple, yet strikingly dark and complex at the same time.
Well on Wed. I got an email from his mailing list about a new show called VIVI VI opening at the Gallery this Friday. At first I didn't think it could have anything to do with Lost, but the first letter's clue about 'right after the
holiday' gave me hope that maybe Luke will contribute after all. I know it's a stretch - at best it's fun info for art fans; at worst it's my own wishful thinking.
Here's the link to the mailer that was sent: http://www.lukechueh.com/mailinglist/email/mailinglist-new.html
Happy Thanksgiving to us in the states. Happy Holiday Season to all.
Happy Thanksgiving! There are many blessings in my life, and this community is one of them. I am also thankful that Doc Jensen's LOST columns have resumed at EW!
here
@Charles Maybe you could be on to something, afterall 4 4 is IVIV which of course is VIVI backwards.
The only link I can get with Grill and Luke is this.
http://www.lukechueh.com/paintings/polishing-my-grill.html
Whilst I'm here happy thanks giving to those celebrating it, have a good one.
and there's this at g88
http://www.nineteeneightyeight.com/entry/entry.html
Happy Thanksgiving all!
I agree we're on the right track with Australia. Australia's a pretty big country, though...
@ Martyn
Have you check Amazon.com for your mac? Sometimes it's still cheaper thru them because there's no tax or shipping.
I got my old iBook G4 with $100 rebate not tax and no shipping.
WOW! anyone that was interested in buying the first season of Fringe on DVD it $18.99 right now - it's usually $36.99.
Yeah but I don't think they ship them to UK. Actually, they might, I think they do send electronics. Hmmm, interesting. Cheers Sam G.
So excited for the next reveal...can't wait to see what they've been holding back for #15!
Possibilities (in order of likelihood)
1) "WE HAVE TO GO BAAAACK!"
2) Charlie's Death
3) Jacob&MIB on Beach, looking out to Black Rock
They would be crazy to leave out #1, since it was the biggest WCM evar. Happy GivingsoftheThanks, USA-ians
There's a UK Amazon but I don't know their policy about taxes.
I've bought things on the Amazon UK site and had them ship to the states.
Just a thought.
Yeah, i've had DVD's shipped off of US Amazon before but they just don't ship the odd thing or two, so will check out their policy on macbooks in a bit.
I personally don't see we have to go back as a poster i'd want. Personally, i'd really want Michael shooting ana lucia and libby. Was the first time my jaw hit the ground with LOST. Easily my favourite season.
hhhhmmm...the various Losties in Teddy Bear having their destructive way with the Big Teddy Bear..Perhaps L Cheun could pull it off.
But..one clue is still to broad for any conclusions. And to that I give Thanks.
Congrats Joe! I likely won't be back much after this, spending time with the family and all. Have a happy Thanksgiving, and I'll be following via LT's tweets.
Congrats to Joe! And Happy Thanksgiving to all in the U.S.!
Nuts! Amazon.com only ship DVD's, music, books and VHS internationally. Not even games, which sucks. Shame too, the new cheap macbook looked a decent deal.
Hello to all - I am new to this discussion. So happy I found you guys. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my TLC and LostArgs U.S. friends! And a Happy Thursday to my worldwide friends!
Congrats to Joe and thanks for sharing your letter! "Grilling"...BBQ is the first thing that comes to mind! Hope it is Australia...seems fitting!
(Welcome, LostiePat!)
happy thanksgiving- anyone know of any black friday deals on lost dvd sets?
Turkey is in the oven, football on the screen . . . so I've got a moment. Updating THE LIST over at STV and noticed that the number 44 is the number of limited addition pamphlets made for "LOST" airline (I thought is was Ajira/Oceanic?)
Not that this helps with Frame 15, but wanted to put it out there as part of our investigation. Have we been tracking 'limited edition' mentions, like the skate deck, ping pong balls, etc. revealed by A. Miller letters?
Just got back home from work and there is a tube here for me :-)
Mr. Tibbs - I think you are on to something. Scroll through the thumbnail images from the sister site of Gallery Nineteen Eighty Eight: http://www.88point5.com/index.php - interesting artwork and titles from featured artist Jimbot.
Just popping in to say a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I'm very glad to be a part of this Lostargs Family! :)
Congrats Joe!
Have a nice T-day everyone. I'm very thankful for my online Lostie friends!
Lottery Ticket - think we should have everything on table (sounds like a Thanksgiving reference) when it comes to Frame 16. Location of each reveal ? Date of each reveal? So many variables.
Zort - sounds as if you have something to be thankful for today as well. Happy Tubeday! :)
What's in the tube Zort?
The thing is with both Luke Chueh and Jimbot is that their work looks like it's mostly painting. All the other artists are renowned for the screen print work they do. Plus I don't think any of the other clues have ever hinted at the artists. I feel like I'm grasping at straws whilst our American cousins are grasping at turkey legs!
Man, i'm lost as to what to do without reading comments.
In the tube is a certain Mr Danger's Jacobs Cabin / That's why my hand was shaking....
And as if that wasn't enough the firsst part of the podcast is now available. NEW POST
Maybe I'm wrong about Jimbot, but take a look at this blog about tomorrow's opening of the art show: http://www.drils.com/?p=179. Zoom into the rabbit and bear logos at the bottom of the poster. As Charlotte said, This place is death.
"After the holidays" everyone will be grilling us for new clues. Well, today is "after the holidays" so im guessing we'll get a clue today.
Hey Pat. I think it's just his style. Wikipedia says this about him "His images have been remarked upon for their juxtaposition of cuteness with the macabre."
Martyn: you'll love your new Mac! I made the switch from a PC earlier this year and it's fantastic. If you know anyone that works at an apple store, see if they'll let ya use their discount. It saved me about $600
