Since The Linder Gallery picture flashed up as one of the images in the Spin NY reveal there has been lots of speculation in the comments about what it might mean.Someone who is very familiar with the painting is Michael John Gorman and Thorsten has contacted him to ask a few questions.
Michael John Gorman is a Director of Science Gallery in Dublin, and has a website dedicated to the book he has edited and produced about the painting - www.mysteriousmasterpiece.com

Well reAni..if you take every thing under Frame16 as a clue,,then its easy to say..yea 7 pm tomorrow, whatever it is..just mite be revealed,,and hopefully,,i mean why not?,,it will be for sale at 1988. I suppose they could Buy Now during the show..but then why possibly ruin the show with the inevitable frustration?

Okay...just got back from a fabulous dinner with Comixguru, Mib and LT!!!! Wonderful start to a great day tomorrow. Drove by Gallery1988 about 9:15pm...only saw 2 people in line. Comixguru and Mib said they might get in line also. It's going to get into the low 50's tonight...brrrr....not for these old bones.
Drat! I'm not going to get there until 1pm or so. If one of your early risers saves me a place... I'll bring you a chair to sit in, and some snacks... :-)

LOST co-producer Sam(antha) Thomas, one of the two Lost folks really behind the DCaaPB fan appreciation event, just stopped by and said hi to my wife Mib and comixguru! She was very appreciative of the fans, nearly on the verge of tears at our interest in her project!
And earlier in the evening some Lost writers brought by two bags of Starbucks for the line.

Wow, folks already in line for tomorrow (well today when I post this)? I can't wait to see what comes up at 7PM. I really hope the print goes on sale Wednesday morning LA time so everyone can have a shot (also I would be at home for it). I wish I wasn't on a 1-10 shift since I drive right by Gallery 1988 everyday (might head in early tomorrow, around noon, and stop by the line and say hi/ give one of them my number to text me the URL).
I am stupidly excited for this as I finish up the season 5 blurays tonight.
Any request from the folks in line (drinks/snacks) that I could pick up for you guys/gals? Assuming they have internet access in line.
