Wow. Tyler stout is one of my favorite artists, his talent is legendary. But i guess I was hoping more for his polar bear art print style that the Alamo Drafthouse stuff. Still, I am sure it is full of gorgeous detail.

That's pretty disappointing that they gave away the stout prints. I mean it's great for all those that showed up, but can only imagine the price of this through flippers. It may not be part of the sale edition and be a completely different version.

If they give out some posters at the show, they may have a variant that goes up on-line. Stout does a lot of variants.

From the live coverage it looks really glossy. Guess that gives hope to the rest of us unable to attend tonight's grand opening.
Definitely glossy poster versions people were having signed and with some additional overlaid printing at the bottom by the look of it? Are we any closer to a decision on the time of the URL going live?

This is amazing! Mad props to everyone streaming. Seeing all that art means I just can't wait until S6 now! So wish I could afford those painted Taweret statues, or that awesome "No Man Is An Island" picture, or the massive "Memento Mori." There's probably enough detail in these to keep us combing for clues until February...

I don't post here often, but I did want to thank reverendmilo & lotteryticket so, so much for their streams. It's nearly as good as being there!
My wallet sure is grateful that I'm not there, but the Lost nerd & hoarder in me is totally bummed that things like the shirts or figures aren't available online. =[

With much of the art being "inspired by" LOST, I wonder if any of those artists had knowledge of the shows ending when painting? If so, how much? If not (which I think more likely), would their visions change after the final season?

I just want to say thank you so much to Damon, Carlton, and co. This was an amazing event and I was glad to be there to meet them and the various artists. I am very glad I went and I got to meet some awesome Losties. Bygnerd and Lostwilley! I had so much fun with these two gals.

Now to the ugly part and I ask you to please read this. I arrived on my flight at midnight at LAX. I was picked up at the airport and us three checked into our motel. We showered and then headed to line up and got there before 3 am. There were less than 10 people there. I was the 10th person, Bygnerd was the 9th, and Lostwilley was the 8th. I was so stoked! We stayed overnight and heard stories that Mib was there the night before but they didn't stay the night. 10-11am rolls around and Mib decides to show up and reclaim her spot she had somehow claimed by being there for 15 minutes the night before. I say that is not fair and we all decide to make a list of the order we are all in. I was once again 10th. Comixguru, aka Alice, was fine with this. She told Mib and a couple of others that they did not stay overnight and therefore should go to the end of the line...which was like 14 people. We thought we were all good. Well, 3pm rolls around and Paul Scheer shows up to hand out 10 sticky notes to the first 10 people for a special surprise. He reads off the list. Lotto Ticket and Mib were arrowed in above Byngerd and myself. Lotto wasn't even there yet. She had not even shown up to the line. Damon and Carlton roll up a few minutes later and hand out prizes to those with sticky notes. Custom made Expose shoes, signed scripts, and statues were given. Lotto rolls up and I kid you not, grabs her swag and leaves. She comes back about 4pm to line back up for the gallery opening.
Of course, Bygnerd and I were pissed. Comixguru had given in and written in Mib and Lotto's name above ours. How is that fair? Lotto spent the whole day touring LA and I spent the whole day in a line. I have never been to LA and what did I get for standing in line for 16+ hours? Absolutely NOTHING. We brought this up with them and Mib offered me an Expose cup to heal my wounds. I stared at her idiotic glazed over eyes and refused. She then went on a rant how she was a bigger fan than us and how she has sacrificed more than us to be there. However, that somehow means that she can sleep in a hotel room while we freeze in 40 degree weather and be a bigger fan for 12 hours. When Damon and Carlton asked if she had camped out overnight, she had the nerve to tell them yes. She lied to their face.
I also don’t see how it is fair for Lotto Ticket to somehow get a free pass. This was my only reveal that I was able to attend and we lined up early so that we could get swag. Well, that didn’t happen because Comixguru thinks that Lotto and Mib are somehow better than Bygnerd and myself. Thank you Lotto, Mib, and Comixguru for being two-faced prats and hoarding everything they could get. Did they offer me a signed script when they got shoes and statues? No. They offered me a ****ing mug. I had all the respect in the world for Lotto but that is all gone. Mib even went on another rant how it wasn’t her fault but she didn’t want to give up her swag. Comixguru even decided that her date deserved a spot up front a couple of hours before the gallery opening because they were together. Thank you ladies for ruining my chances to get ANY swag from a reveal. I hope this changes everyone’s opinions about you all. Many, many people saw the way you three acted and you should feel ashamed that 50+ year old women are childish enough to cut in line and steal from dedicated Losties that put time and effort into being in that line when you decided not to. Karma is a bitch.

What a wonderful day I had...meeting people I have meet on line for years....having Damon and Carlton sign my quilt....getting the 16th poster....being part of the clue with the tote bag and bookmarks....meeting some Lost writers...meeting Jeff Jensen...meeting Gregg Nations (who really reads Lost Args)....giving Damon and Carlton the LostArgs poster....Gregg knowing I was the quilt lady!....meeting Corey, Carlton's assistant and reminding him to make sure our poster gets on the writer's wall!
@Chaster: I really feel your pain. I am friends with Comixguru, LT and just met Mib,and I understand how things got out of hand. I know I saved a place further back on the line for Scoutpost who was driving in from Phoenix and could not get there any earlier. I made sure those around me know the whole story and they were cool with it. I did not see any of the "discussion" you had with them so I can't comment on it. Sorry things worked out the way they did.
i tell you what, if i slept on the street for a night and somebody, anybody told me they were in front of me in line. things would not have ended well.
chaster is a better person than me and i'm a better person than comixguru and the other fools.
