Dang, that is a sweet poster. Just ordered mine, and all the old nervousness and adrenaline was back...seemingly unwarranted, since no one seems to have yelled "Fire!" in this particular theater yet. The new site is definitely hazardous to my bank account; already picked up the "Smoke" t-shirt. The color scheme is brilliant.
Does it seem to anyone else that they are really responding to the things we complained about/suggested they change during the first poster run? "Not Penny's Boat" is getting plenty of coverage after everyone complained it was missing, there are t-shirts for less money than the prints after the Olly Moss ones did so well, and we finally get a Black Rock print (from DD, no less). We can set up accounts ahead of time and easily check on order status, the runs are slightly larger, and without as much publicity and hype I'm betting these items are mostly going to Losties. Granted, the old rush is gone, but so is all the angst and agony.
tl;dr Bravo to Gallery88/TysonGivens/DCAAPB for actually listening to us and improving.
Daniel Danger is teh awesome. Jacobs Cabin looks so much better IRL than on the computer screen. I imagine this new print will be no different. Kudos to Dan and the Jensen Clan!

guys, with multiple items on sale, transaction numbers are less than pointless. We won't get any info off them. Got both my confirmation emails. Also, 1:08pm EST I'm guessing, following my theory of 1:08 in different timezones.
Also, it was me that worked out why Danger was dropping like it was hot.
I missed out on the first DD print and couldn't resist this one, Order #128005. This one could be easily displayed in my office, whereas some of the others on the first run could not.
It's been some time since I've posted, however, I lurk on a regular basis. Great job on keeping LOSTARGS alive Zort.
BTW I already got my Olly Moss shirts today. I bought one for me and one for a friend. It says the Not Penny's tote is the one on back order. Haven't gotten my DS shirt yet though. My friend is going to love this shirt.

@illix haha...I was doing stuff around the house and thought I would just check the site. When I saw this one and that it was a DD- my emergency mode kicked in too! I don't think this one will be around for too long.
I figure all of these will sell out. Remember in the first round a few of those prints were available for weeks before they sold out. It wasn't until the big guns started being revealed that everybody went back and bought the less popular ones. Even Locke's Secrets took almost a day to sell out.
@Ben... The chances that during the last hour there's other people not buying this print are pretty small.. No?

Less than 190 left (not going by order numbers). So more of Danger's Black Rock have sold already than ever sold of Jacob's Cabin (somewhat facetious since only 250 of JC existed to sell).

yeah, transaction nos have some worth for general tracking. This will be gone in an hour or less, I reckon.
If you go by the order numbers we're posting here, just over 200 have sold. The lowest was around 777 and @scoutpost's was 989. There's someone at EB that is posting more concrete numbers of the sales via some other method. The way we were able to check last week, by entering a quantity of 999 seems to have been disabled to an extent.
@Lisa, yeah, um, next Monday is going to be depressing.
@Scoutpost True, but I suppose time is also a factor here - this is taking place over a span of a week or so, rather than the 15 weeks over the summer. I suspect the word hasn't gone very far yet, especially since it was announced at Lost Live and hasn't really been publicized since (not that one needs to actively publicize anything, the way Losties talk...) The runs are also a bit larger; I think the shirts are in batches of 815 and the posters in batches of 300-500?
I, Quinn, am also a LOST addict. Just know that we all will be going through the stages of loss next week

Got one, and wife liked it so much she ordered one for her office too. Hope us taking turns through the same account doesn't mess anything up.
We've never had that happen before. We could actually both order one, one after the other, and get confirmation that we both made it. That's pretty amazing, considering last fall I felt like I had to fight to even progress from order page to order page once.

For me, this is one of the very coolest things to happen, in either DCaaPB run, ever, as it appears someone heard my request...
I understand this print might not be everyone's cup of tea, and that's cool, everyone is entitled to their tastes/ sensibilities. But from past experience I know this print will be awwsome in person. DD's has used a similar approach for sky, for example (in his "...archer print," and it looks amazing in person.
I'm sure it will sell out in a few minutes as word continues to break, so congrats to all who scored one!

I got confirmation emails for all three, and they are all booked on the same credit card.
I hope they don't cancel them thinking I'm a flipper! The site doesn't say one per customer.

This Danger is sooo good - like a mix between his Ghost Ship and brushed I came to know an Archer. Really want to see how the sky comes out in a screenprint. That's fancy printing I'd think.

@PatMC: The wristband people posted that there was a mix-up (something about quality control at the factory) and there might be a slight delay in the first batch ordered (which I was in). They cannot guarantee now that they will be in by finale date.
Any guesses as to when it will drop tomorrow? Since he did the first 2 at 1:08 Pacific, maybe tomorrow's will still be 1:08 Eastern?
All my orders, including t-Shirts are also pre-orders, so I'm guessing things are ok, fingers crossed.

My Danger print says "Preorder" but I ordered a shirt for my dad and it says Queued. Probably just means that the shirt hasn't been printed yet.

Once its set up, the printing is the cheap part of it, so I imagine they will be done in one run. They usually know what volumes are likely to shift.

I'm right there with you--devastation levels are high at the moment. I'm busy at work this morning and check in at the usual time only to find out that it's NOT the usual time and I had already missed out on the companion to "Jacob's Cabin."

Daniel Danger obviously, i had to stay secret secretive about it, but i did a second print for ABC's LOST, which apparently sold out 500 copies in 10 minutes earlier today. had i known in the least bit they were going up, i would have motioned some of you towards it, but i didnt! enjoy it! as before, keep your eye out when the promotion is over. http://www.damoncarltonandapolarbear.com
Here i am. I was SO LUCKY.
I found that the site was being updated somehow, so i stayed home. I had to go out with a friend, but he was late... and i saw the poster.
Thought about it for at least one minute, and then... Bought. (#127.763)
I have to make space for this, i may have to sell my Stout's LOST to earn some space in my room :D
Oh- so that means he has the extra prints to sell again?
No oversell email yet- this looks even richer to me on second viewing- sure hope I still have it.
You're right WB- we should have checked earlier- but Mondays get busy- have to actually do some work usually-stupid work!

i think its a little unfair to say because people missed it theyre not 'true fans'. i m certainly a TRUE fan, and check these sites like clockwork, but there are times when people CANT check them. or have work, and i just happened to miss it by an hour. seeing as the last two were dropped at 108, it only seemed likely the others would too.
granted not getting it is just the way the dice rolls. i m not too butt hurt over it. i LOVE the print, and wish i could have got it. but i definitely feel for those who went hte same route and thought it would be at the same time...
just have a little compassion for those who wanted the print and didnt get it.
@Dr.Jones... I'm just saying, with all the tricks played before, It shouldn't be a suprise that it wasn't at 108 today... That would be to easy and make it not fun... And it was on sale for two hours... So still a big gap

@Weinbeeezy, thanks for the info about the Des print! Now I'm even more excited.
Regarding the drop time: It actually DID drop at 108, just on the other coast. I think Jensen was a few minutes late. I was able to load the picture at 1:10 EST. Fairly predictable time.
That being said, if there's anything we learned from the first round, it's that NOTHING is predictable, completely, and everything takes a little longer than you might think. The edition size on this is HUGE, compared to the first run. There's been plenty of time to be wrong about the time and still get a poster. Get a poster buddy if you need to!

i can understand people missing the drop, even if it is still a big run, and missing the time, if a print sells out within 2hours, its perfectly reasonable to assume someone might miss it due to obligations...
i think that the amount of people complaining is very small, and i only saw a few, it didnt feel excessive at all.
most of us have been there before, and been bummed about it...
just sayin. not trying to be rude or anything.
just trying to respect both sides of the fence.

Now that i've had some time to look at this print closely..I see a small figure in the lower left and of course am even more taken by the detailed work..Its the Cabin's partner..but I agree..I like this one more than the Cabin..will say more when I see it IRL..look at that..ole fart says IRL..Anyway..I too am glad this one wasn't in the 1st run..a larger edition means more will get to enjoy it..and that seems appropo to me...okay..now to clean all the dried blood off of my f5 key..

@Just Thinking It's my understanding that the artists get 50 prints from their run as payment. And it's not bad, if DD sells 50 of those at $250 each, it's not a bad payday.
Well, I haven't gotten any emails or notification that my order was anything but confirmed. I barely got mine in, once I went back to the page, the DD print was gone and then replaced with the SOLD OUT graphic.
I luckily woke up an after hour going to bed to use the loo and just happened to groggily check DC&APB in the nick of time, whew.
These random drops are not much fun, and as predicted, are simultaneously more and less fair to fans trying to score a print.
Where do you guys see the Teefury shirt?

Unfortunately I missed the DD drop today. I did however get a chance to see a sneak peek of one of the upcoming prints :-)
It is by one of our favorite artists....and I think everyone will LOVE it. It will definitely sell out in under an hour.
Can't wait for tomorrow.
