just saw last night's episode. For every "oh..." moment from across the sea, this weeks brought a "YES!". Ben and Widmore - YES. Desmond - YES. Jacob's campfire singalong - YESYESYES. I LOVED this episode. So good. I'm super-pleased I don't have to wait a week for the finale!

I've been told by a VERY reliable source that the last poster will be released on 5/23/11 (to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the end of LOST).
It is to be done by our very own young & talented AliceL. She's been in secret negotiations with Jensen and it will be inspired by the last scene of the series. She already knows how it ends as she's seen and advance copy of the finale.
If you would like to pre-order it now & know how LOST ends, please send ChrisL $815 dollars for the print, plus $108 dollars for shipping. It's a limited run of JUST 4,815,162,342 prints and after seeing it... I know it will sell out... so if you want it, you better send the money NOW to ChrisL before 1:08PM today!

Olly popped in for a second to praise Ken's poster. Does it not feel weird to anyone else to have a celebrity of sorts come and say hey to us? Must just be me.
This poster is pretty cool, I love the comic book style. Downside is that it took me far to long to figure out what the hell was going on, since that Claire Stare was from the first scene and the smoke monster was the 2nd. And that it was Kate jumping down the hole and then looking up at it.
Today is beautifully sunny! NE HD tv is here, Sky HD installed this morning and the series finale set to record at 5am. I practised making Juliet's On The Beach this morning, which those who went to Hawaii will be familiar with. May as well end this series the way I started it!
Team Jack is awesome again for providing coverage of the JKL last night. Downloading it as we speak!

Martyn. I found it sooo slow. Was getting white screen just on refresh and despite not many people seeming to want the print I got database error on each check out screen.
If the site runs well (has had a lot of SQL database errors about 10 seconds after the print has come out for the past couple of drops), I'd say a 3-5 minute sell out, if we're lucky.

@Zort and everyone else refreshing: Install the firefox addon check4change, no more need to refresh! I also use another addon called UpdateScanner, but that one only checks every 10 minutes. I use that for sites that don't require a refresh every 5 seconds.

I got the database error on the final checkout screen too, but I got the confirmation email from gomerch and tyson/givens.

Thats why I love screen-print artists. They are so "reachable". Every time I've emailed an aritst they have responded back quickly and politely. Tyler Stout is probably the artist i converse with the most via email, he's a great guy! Even gave me the scoop on his Lost poster almost 2 months before it released! Pretty much all of the artists can be found posting on the expressobeans and gigposters forums. It may or may not have been Olly dropping in yesterday, but It wouldn't surprise me to find out it was!
Check4change doesn't work on safari and firefox doesn't perform as well on macs as it does on pcs. For me anyway.
Plus, where's the fun in having the computer refresh?

Yeah, I emailed rob jones about the swan station and a print he did for a White stripes gig I went to when I was young and couldn't afford the poster and a tee. I then realised I was actually having a conversation with a guy who knew Jack White and became starstruck. Rob Jones was awesome too, made very clear that he was playing by therules and would tell me nothing about his resale of his prints. Never did sort me that poster though, last I heard, he was getting me an estimate for shipping. Hmmmm...

Refreshing gave me the same error. I then tried pressing "back" and it showed my cart as empty. So I decided to check my email before retrying the whole process, and sure enough I had the confirmation emails.
Ray. Refresh the page is what I learnt from the previous round of print drops so I've been doing that with the new DCaaPB site too. Hitting the BB seems to lead to an even worse scenario.
My framer knocked on my kitchen door last night to ask how many prints I've purchased this week. (I told him about series of prints last week) Seriously. Is it time for Lost art intervention when the framer makes house calls?

It takes me awhile to understand the appealing nature of these prints. I'm learning this now that I've been exposed to screen print art. I bought these prints because the artists are praised for their work. I want to have them so I can compare the art (and printing) styles/techniques...this is what I'm interested in seeing the most.

@ Everyone - Good Morning to all, and good luck with the last drop. I had to take a step back this morning to realize and truely appreciate how epic of a weekend this is. Many of us have been on a six year journey with this show, and I think i can speak for many when i say Lost is a HUGE part of our lives. While i am excited about the Finale and the last print drop, i am starting to realize there will be something missing from my life after Sunday night comes and passes. Thank god for DVD, but its hard to imagine that there will ever be another show like LOST, and there will never be better fans than the fans of LOST!!!! Again, good luck to all on the print drop, and lets hope its SPECTACULAR!

Last year for the season 5 finale I looked EVERYWHERE for boar meat, but failed. If you can find it, I recommend buying it.
lol we will be in a hotel so no boar meat cooking. I think someone is bringing pizza with them. I need to get the tissues too, gona need them for sure. I will post photos when I'm done either before or after.
OK so here's where my real panic starts. About to step out to Jr's birthday party so gone for around 3 hours! Hopefully it won't drop before 12.08 but if it does at least I'm secure in the knowledge that I have THE best poster buddy on the case.

well, so far today I have witnessed a three car collision, and seen someone splayed out on the road with police inspecting them. I've broken my phone irreprably. My car wouldn't start, and in the last half hour I've sliced my head open on the corner of an open window. So yeah, today's print had better be special!

Haha, okay boar is out. You can also go to a deli and get some sliced meats like prosciutto and put it on crackers or have it with fresh mozz. Comes from the pig family so it still qualifies.

A Sunday reveal would be awful. I don't want to waste a Saturday hitting F5 for nothing, and I want it to be done by tomorrow so I can focus on the finale.
@dylansdad, I agree. This print is going to be epic (I saw a preview this morning, FWIW), but the print # is 500 right? That's fairly high, so it's not like it'll be rare. Definitely not wasting both days this weekend hitting F5 for it.

I'm excited for the last print drop and hoping for it to be either Tan or Moss, my favorite artists from the series. That being said, it's unfortunate that we don't know a more def time as I had been looking forward to seeing Gallery88 and goofing off with my Chi-town girls before le party. ;)

It was on Jimmy Kimmel live last night. There was a ton of great lost stuff. Lindelof and Cuse were on it. They gave some info about after Lost too. And some funny stuff as well. It's worth a watch. There was only a small clip no real spoilers.

I think it reminds me a bit of Eric Tan's style as well. I think it would be cool if the two of them worked together on this piece--I like the idea of the series ending with a collaboration. That would be fitting. But either way, I'm looking forward to getting this one.

looks like I'm up for another hour of playing Red Dead Redemption, which is seriously beautiful to look at, by the way. My girlfriend, usually cynical of such things, kept going on about how amazing it was to watch. Until I hunted, shot and skinned a deer. Then she shut up.
I have put off going to the movies for the poster drop, and haven't been tempted to see the pic, either. I'll be building a wardrobe (oh, the glamour!) and trying not to bleed for the rest of the day.

everytime I see that white box pop up on the DCAAPB site, I expect it to say something inside the box. Like bugger off, not yet, haha- no poster yet ! Oh well, guess I will be back in a hour. Off to make cookies
